CANADA, my proud and blessed country was born officially on the 1 st of July 1867. On that memorial day, Sir John A. Macdonald, 1st Prime Minister of Canada with a group of elected members of 4 provinces, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Ontario and Quebec formed a self governing dominion within the British Empire and the anniversary of this date was called: Dominion Day. In 1983 on each 1 st of July and since, it began to be  officially known as Canada Day.

Canada has expanded in time to 10 Provinces and 3 Territories with a population of 35 millions citizens + and is known all over the world as a  Sovereign Country of Peace and Tolerance.

Being a Canadian it is a most great honor to celebrate each year the Birth of my Country, its values and the Greatest Ones of what it stands for: Freedom and Human Rights.
