"THE STORY OF THE 3 LITTLE KITTENS" ( A Christmas Carol) by Lucien Alexandre Marion

It happened in the afternoon of the 24 th of December. It was snowing and on that day in Ottawa Canada, 3 little kittens lost their mother that died when she was hit by a car in crossing a busy street and the poor little kittens were left orphans in the big city in the cold with nothing to eat or drink and without their mother. A very, very sad situation...

They were so cold, homeless, crying, wandering and trying to find a place of security. For many hours they wandered on the streets of the big city until they found themselves in front of a gate where a gentle person dressed with a uniform saw them and with compassion took them inside a little cabin that he was using to keep warm in that cold and snowy day.

That noble person was a Security Guard and his little cabin was near a beautiful house that he was guarding as his noble duty to do.

When the Master of this house arrived, he saluted warmly the guard and asked about the 3 little  baby cats that he noticed inside the guardhouse. The guard explained that he had found them wandering in the snow in the cold and had brought them in the guardhouse to secure them while he would try to find them a shelter and someone to take care of them.

The Master of the beautiful home had a warm heart and he and his family had a reputation of being kind to animals and they also had pets of their own. He said to the guard that he would keep them if they were little orphans and that if no one would claimed them.

He brought them gently inside his home and there, his little family was very happy to receive the little kittens and cuddled them and gave them a bowl of warm milk and a little basket with blankets in which they could sleep in security and in warmth knowing that their new home was full of warmth and love.

Later when they awoke, what a surprise...What they saw was so beautiful. There were plenty of beautiful decorations in the big house, there were a Christmas tree and lots of gifts under it and also they could hear such beautiful music in the air and appetite food on the table with candles. The little kittens thought they had awaken in "the catsheaven"...

At a certain time they saw the family of the good man that had brought them in his house and given them such good hot milk, food and most important love.

It was Christmas and at the bells of midnight , the 3 little kittens like by magic in trying to thank their new master and his noble little family started to sing for them in their cat language a most unique song from their little hearts and in harmony of 3 voices:

♫♫♫meow meow meow

♫♫♫meow meow meow

♫♫♫meow meow Chritsmas

Believe it or not, the residence where they had been sheltered and so warmly treated was the residence of my Noble Prime Minister of Canada and his little family in Ottawa. The little kittens were so happy of having found security and love and needless to say that all had a such beautiful Christmas and they all lived happily after till they could take care for themselves in the big world out there.

♫♫♫ Merry Christmas ♫♫♫ Joyeux Noël

This afternoon I will repeat your kitty story to my kitty colony, Lucien. I am blurry eyed from your story and have a joyful heart for the kittens saved by compassion and love.

Mele Kalikimaka, my dear Friend. Stay warm this winter. I'll try to seed a Pineapple express your way if it becomes too cold.

Lucien, what a heart warming tale. Something that would sound nice..reading to little children. At first I thought you were the warm soul who took in the little kitties. To my surprise, it is your Prime Minister of Canada. He must truly be a noble,
smart and caring soul. Merry Christmas to you & Best Wishes for your Health & Prosperity.

On another note..i purchased salmon from Canada which we have today. Grown on a salmon farm with fresh, clean water.

Thank you, my friend.

My daughter's kitten, found wandering in the desert near their house is celebrating his first Christmas with the family. I believe those found and nurtured are magical as they bring such joy to those not even aware that they were missing any joy.

Kitty magnets are very happy humans, Lucien. My kitty colony, the next door kitty that has adopted us and my own "grandkitty" living here with me as my daughter's condo does not allow pets seem to think I am a fine friend for them. Tucker the Cat is 17 years old this year and still very much opinionated and playful.

I'm sure your family of kitties bring equal joy.

I must continue the spoiling as there is still chicken left on the roasted chicken and it has the kitty's name on it. Much joy to you, Lucien.
